We are rooted in the arts, drawn to the film industry by our love for collaborative mediums like theatre and cinema. Our interest in photography, combined with a passion for exploration, naturally led us to location management. Creativity, adventure, and camaraderie are the core principles that define our background.

‘Zippy’ Downing
‘Zippy’ Downing (they/she) has been working as an LA based Location Scout + Manager since 2006, with recent TV/film projects including Freakier Friday (Disney), Shrinking (Apple), Yellowjackets (Showtime) and Star Trek: Picard (Paramount), and recent commercial clients including Nissan, Chanel, Adidas, Bombay Sapphire, and Coca Cola.
As an FAA-licensed drone pilot, Zippy has honed a passion for aerial photography, and often works in tandem with cinematographers to conceptualize drone shots tailored to their creative vision. Zippy is equally passionate about educating fellow locations professionals in the field of aerial scouting. Zippy served as organizer and lead instructor for the first-ever Drone Scouting Workshop presented to 399 Hollywood Teamsters.
Zippy is a proud member of the Location Managers Guild International, and Teamsters Local 399, and was recently honored with a California on Location Award (COLA) nomination for work on the Apple TV+ series Shrinking.

Miranda Carnessale
Miranda Carnessale is a Location Manager and Scout based in Los Angeles, CA. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Technical Theatre from Cal State Long Beach and has a background in multidisciplinary art mediums, including Sculpture, Piano, Costume Design, and Directing. After college, like many in her field, Miranda "fell into locations," a career that has proven to be not just long-lasting but perfectly suited to her appetite for travel, human connection, and juggling the complexities of production.
Starting her career in episodic TV with shows like Scandal and Cold Case, she eventually transitioned into feature films, drawn by their innovative nature. As one of the scouts for Killers of the Flower Moon and Barbie, Miranda's passion for Location Management has been a slow burn over her 16-year journey, leading her to a point where her relationship with work is one of wonder and joy.
As a dedicated member of the Teamsters Local 399 Steering, Negotiating, and Education Committees, Miranda has a strong commitment to member advocacy and education. She has played a pivotal role in strengthening the union’s education program, including co-organizing a drone workshop and successfully advocating for drone language to be incorporated into the 2024 Location Manager Agreement, among other substantial contract gains.
